Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) is a series of techniques which, when used by a competently trained facilitator, has proven to be effective in addressing and resolving most of the symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other unwanted after effects of trauma.
Many people who do not have PTSD still suffer from major losses, accidents, injuries and other painful life experiences and could benefit significantly from TIR.
TIR is a client centered approach to guiding clients in addressing and releasing unwanted emotions, feelings, sensations, attitudes, etc., which might be connected to previous or current life events or relationships and which continue to cause disruption or upset in your life.
LSR is a complementary approach to TIR and is designed to assist clients in addressing and resolving major concerns or issues in their lives by using a series of techniques which allows them to systematically view emotionally charged incidents or concerns.
LSR can relieve emotional pain and bring clarity and comfort to a variety of difficult issues such as challenging relationships, low self-esteem, body image concerns, job/career problems, financial issues, anxiety and fear of the future, etc.  It can bring about important self realizations and increase a positive state of mind.
TIR is an evidence based practice and has been listed as such on SAMHSA ( - Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration which is an agency of the U.S. Federal government.
